A long time ago that would work, but nowadays a lot of nonasians speak Chinese better than I do. Dude on Saturday two Mormon white dudes approached me speaking pretty impressive chinese and whipped out vocab I didn’t understand!!! We conversed in chinglish…it was pretty fun…but after the convo I immediately started talking to my apartment mates in mandarin in an effort to improve my inadequate chinese speaking skills. ;___;
