I didn’t even notice this until last year when I asked for art crit from a stranger and they pointed it out to me. I then went to my gallery thumbnails and saw a picture of myself and then my drawing right above it and LOLL THE FACE SHAPE/PROPORTIONS WERE WAY TOO SIMILAR. My friends always told me I resembled my art but I just chalked it up to them actually knowing me haha. I don’t use reference pics so I guess I must have subconsciously relied too much on my own face LOLL.
Also straight bangs are the easiest hair style to draw [for me] and well..I have straight bangs..so that’s a definite factor. >_>;
